(1-25 of 77)A must have for sales
Additionally, I will use the Outreach extension in Gmail to add snippets, templates, or meeting times to my emails.
- Sequencing prospects
- Gmail integration to insert Calendar link, Snippets and Templates
- Company wide Metrics tracking
- Sequence Rules can become quite complicated (Often run into errors when trying to add a prospect and hard to determine why)
- Gmail side bar drawer is hit or miss if it works or not to show relevant contact info
- Response to inmails from prospects won't stop your sequence
On the other hand, Outreach is not the best to help you create content, as of this writing there is no AI support. It is also worth noting that Outreach's permission structure can create a lot of confusion for team members and that untangling errors at times can become complex
- Automated Sequences.
- Integrations
- Sales Solutions.
- Reports
- Customer Service - zero support for small - medium businesses.
- Billing - billing is messy, and customer service for billing questions is pretty awful (if anyone is ever available).
- Bounce Rates - our bounce rates are through the roof when using Outreach which isn't a problem we have with HubSpot or Pardot.
Outreach for sales
- Keep your mail and phone schedules regulated and consistent, nothing falls through the cracks
- Automating touches to maximize your ability to connect with prospects
- Tracking touches, opens, links clicked, etc so you can focus on engaged prospects
- Integration with Salesforce so all touches are logged in system of record
- So many capabilities that it's easy to be overwhelmed when first introduced to it
- Falling behind feels like a death sentence -- all the sudden you have 100s of tasks to catch up on
- Expensive
A sales person's best friend!
- Tracks open rate
- Sends follow up emails based on if the email was opened or not
- Analytics
- I would like more reporting
One stop shop Tool
- Phone Calls
- Tasks
- Opportunity Check Up
- Delegation
- Emails
- Bulk Emails
- Prospecting
- Color use
- UI
- Prospect / Account details
- In - app research
- Great call connectivity.
- Detailed reports on email and calls.
- Keeps you organized in Salesforce to know what merchants you are communicating with through email as well as their responses!
- Sometimes there are connection issues.
- More robust reports if possible.
- Greater insight into areas of call or email outreach improvement.
Great for messaging visibility
- Visibility into messaging efficacy - we can clearly see bounce rates, reply rates, etc with this tool
- Consistent messaging - the team is able to craft specific sequence messages that is used across the team, ensuring that our communications stay on-brand and highlight agreed-upon points for the message receiver.
- Integration with Salesforce - whether through a trigger or direct updates, specific actions in Outreach are synced seamlessly with our CRM, allowing us to continue to use Salesforce as our source of truth for cross-functional performance metrics.
- Triggers can be a little tricky to figure out - some limitations are not intuitive
- User management through Salesforce feature - our process is to Freeze Salesforce accounts before deactivating them to ensure account/opportunity/contact migrations have fully taken place; Outreach will only remove licenses from deactivated users, which could be frustrating if we were already at our license cap and needed to add more users in that interim.
Outreach for the WIN!
- Easy sequencing leading to more self-sourced leads
- Easily syncs information and call activity back to Salesforce for manager visibility
- Ability to import leads on a daily basis within active sequences to continue to improve upon outbound numbers
- Creative idea: Much like some vendors have a mini-dialer within Salesforce, it would be interesting to see how Outreach could do something similar to keep everything within one window instead of multiple open tabs
Didn't live up to the hype
- Reminders of when tasks are due/being able to prioritize tasks on the home page
- Metrics for managers
- Account pages to be able to see all activity for contacts from the same account on one page
- Ability to sort tasks based on time zone would be a game-changer
- Better functionality for bulk uploading contacts
- Interface could be more user-friendly
OUTREACH ROCKS!
- Mass emails
- Contact list upload
- Campaign organization
- User experience
- Navigation of site
- Mobile friendly
Outreach Review
- tracks emails
- allows me to see who had opened / viewed an email (and how many times)
- allows me to reach out to multiple people at once with a series of emails that will be sent over a specified period of time
Outreach is good but it's competitors might be better
- It is really super great at making sequences with manual or automatic emails!
- Great at masking our phone numbers as a local number.
- Great at tracking opens on emails.
- There is no click to dial function as found in SalesLoft.
- Parts of the user interface are clunky and takes me off the page I want to be on from time to time.
- Tracks information on companies but does not always find the right info.
Outreach is definitely solid and useful
- The integration of syncing to my gmail is great
- Any other product integration like how it syncs with our Salesforce as well is super helpful
- Overall, it's UI is pretty intuitive
- It forces you to log back in quite often, so sometimes when I'm typing an email I'll realize it is not currently synced so then I must refresh every time
Perfect email automation for sales development
- Integrate with your own email server. The main reason why we switched email automation is because of deliverability. Outreach sends emails from your own email server, that with branded tracking URLs emails, are less likely to end up in spam folders or being flagged as "marketing." Looks like if you send an email via Outlook.
- Robust solution. Functionalities work great without technical issues.
- Integrations are a big plus. Works well with Salesforce and even Drift.
- No subject line switching within a sequence. It's either a thread with "Re: [..]" or new emails.
Outreach is a terrible product
- Using local phone numbers to call prospects
- Letting you know when a prospect has read your email
- Scheduling deliveries
- Stop crashing constantly
- Stop failing to save changes and failing to sync with SalesForce
- Stop freezing and dropping calls
- Falsely notifying a faulty internet connection
- Failing to open and load
- Being outright unreliable
Thoroughly vet this product out and ask for customer references prior to purchasing and implementing
- Automatically logs emails and calls into Salesforce
- Tracks email opens and clicks
- Automates mass email campaigns
- Very glitchy
- Customer service is very slow to respond and resolve issues - I once went 24 hours before getting a response and was then asked to engage in trouble-shooting via email/chat which is very time consuming and frustrating
- Emails often send with a couple different font styles/sizes and spacing can be distorted from the recipient's view
- Simple to use
- Easy to set up templates
- Reliable email tracking
- Updates could be more real-time. Often times I need to refresh to see the latest open activity.
OutReach Makes It Easier To Sell New Business!
- Helps target specific leads to work each day/week.
- Keeps our appointment setters organized & tasks created for easy follow-up.
- We can create specific messaging based on the type of lead we're working.
- I would love a small pop-up window to show when emails are opened.
- It would be awesome to be able to grab open time slots from the calendar & incorporate them into a sequence for prospects to choose & auto update the calendar.
Because OutReach pulls info from Salesforce, sometimes it becomes difficult to address messages to specific people.
Outreach trumps SalesLoft -- and works exactly as advertised
- Outreach Voice - I've never had any technical issues with the phone quality or service. Local area codes increases pickup rates too.
- Sequences - we run our entire business off of these and the flexibility and options here are awesome.
- Reporting - I gain insights that allow me to strategically direct my team going forward to continuously improve productivity.
- I'd like to see even more advanced reporting.
The only system your SDR team will ever need
- Automating emails and using mail merge field to make custom emails
- A/B Testing
- Saving time by providing all the necessary data in one spot
- Process Automation
- Integration with Salesforce on the Account level could use some refinement
- The Dialer is not the best but it isn't required.
Outreach is building my pipe!
- Easy to import into Outreach
- Easy to build out sequences to use for repeated outreach
- Easy to set tasks with individuals, very customized
- When you import new contacts into Outreach, it would be nice if it allowed you to easily upload these into Salesforce, which it says it can do, but I've never found it to work right
- Would be nice if you could modify the tasks orders in a sequence even after you've put contacts into it
A Beginner SDR Utilizes Outreach to Manage Success.
- Outreach is excellent at organizing my pipeline communication, in a few clicks I can see a simple overview of my call/email campaign with specific prospects.
- Outreach does a great job of managing the communication with my prospects, it gives me great insight into how my emails are received on the other end, as well as the ability to add notes onto a call. Takes away the pain of having to review for 10 minutes before every call, review time can be cut down to 30 seconds.
- From an engineering standpoint, Outreach seems to be easily customized to my team's certain campaign desires. The A/B test feature is also awesome, allows for a quick glance at the success of specific campaigns against each other!
- The learning curve to Outreach can be difficult unless a team has an Outreach guru some features often go unnoticed.
- Occasionally calls will drop and recordings are not found, but this happens few times day to day.
- When campaigns are heavily customized some of the more simple features of Outreach tend to experience issues, for instance when a prospect was marked finished in a sequence, the next day they still received another email or I was tasked to call them once more.
Outreach, as reviewed by an SDR
- Email tracking
- Creating a uniform process to the sales process
- Gives measurable statistics for the individual user all the way up to the C-Level Suite.
- Sequences can be tedious and easy to mess up if adjustments aren't thought through.
- I wish there was a pipeline integration to outreach
- At times Outreach can have latency issues
Not another SDR review
- Helps to organize our daily outreaches to prospects
- Create different sequences, Use of snippets + share best practices between colleagues based on what others use and what is successful
- Analytics (views + clicks)
- E-mail integration (gmail)
- Calendar integration (possibility for tasks to pop up in google calendar)
- Flexibility in the workflow (more manageable overview of tasks,)
- Auto-populate when capturing profile from Linkedin (lose so much time with manually typing in info)
- More variation on manual task (choose specific categories: LI e-mail // LI- FUP // webinar invite // phone call // ...)
Reach out with Outreach!
- Local numbers for international calling
- Robust reporting and analytics
- Simple interface
- Sequences and sequence steps need to be more flexible
- Call quality is not the best
- Too much purple visually
